How to replace the SSD on Microsoft Surface Laptop 5?

Answer

To remove or replace the SSD on Surface Laptop 5, do the following:

  1. Remove the laptop feet.
  2. Remove the screw under each laptop’s feet.
  3. Separate the keyboard from the base.
  4. You will see the SSD and M.2 slot right under the keyboard. From here, you can use a Torx screwdriver to remove the screw and remove the SSD.
