What’s new
Surface Pro 10 is another major upgrade over the Surface Pro 9 in terms of performance, camera, and display. It’s the first Intel-based Surface Pro optimized for AI with an integrated neural processing unit (NPU) dedicated to efficiently running machine learning algorithms such as Windows Studio Effects and Live Captions.
The Surface Pro 10 has made impressive improvements over its predecessor, the Surface Pro 9. According to Microsoft, the new Surface Pro 10 is 53% faster than the Surface Pro 9 based on the 3DMark TimeSpy benchmark measuring graphic performance. It has the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, Intel graphics, 64GB of 7476 MHz LPDDR5x memory, 1TB Gen4 SSD, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. It is also the first Intel-based Surface Pro to feature an integrated NPU. The Surface Pro 10’s Intel AI Boost efficiently drives AI features like Windows Studio Effects and Live Captions, freeing up thermal and power to run other critical tasks on CPU and GPU. It also offers a better battery life, up to 19 hours of typical device usage.
The 13-inch PixelSense™ Flow display now has rounded corners for seamless integration with Windows 11, an improved contrast ratio, an additional 150 nits of brightness, and an anti-reflective coating. It is now more accessible to service and repairs with built-in QR codes that provide convenient access to service guides. Additionally, it features internal markings that identify the number of screws and driver types needed for critical components.
Furthermore, it now comes with a 1440p Quad HD camera with an ultrawide field of view, a 10.5 MP Ultra HD rear-facing camera, and a new Surface Pro Type Cover with a dedicated Copilot key.
