September 2021 Updates Improves Surface Go 2 System Stability and PXE Boot Performance
Surface Go 2 receives September 2021 drivers and firmware updates to improve system stability, security, and PXE boot performance.
Microsoft has started rolling out September firmware updates for Surface Go 2 devices running Windows 10 May 2019 Update, version 1903 or later.
The new firmware updates will address critical security vulnerabilities and improve system stability. It also improves PXE boot performance and driver to support service with a new firmware update that will bump the version of Surface UEFI to 184.108.40.206. The update is listed as “September 09, 2021 release” on the Surface Go 2 Update History page.
