Microsoft continues to push out its big wave of firmware updates to all major Surface lines including Surface Pro 4, Surface Pro (2017), Surface Laptop, Surface Book, and Surface Book 2. And there is no exception for Surface Studio, the company now start rolling out the same long list of firmware updates to all Surface Studio devices.
The updates will improve Surface Studio’s system stability, security, graphics, pen, and Cortana performance. The current updates are listed as “August 30 release” on the Surface Studio Update History page where you can find all device’s update history.

Updating your Surface Studio via Windows Update
You can get this new Firmware Update by:
- Go to Start > Settings > Update & security > Windows Update
- Click on Check for updates
If your Surface Studio didn’t have the update installed yet, it should appear on the Windows Update page now.
