Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Update

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is the first successful Surface device that is widely used by consumer and enterprise customers. Despite its 4 years old, Microsoft is still continuing to provide firmware updates to the device. Likewise, my sister’s Surface Pro 3 can handle well for the day-to-day tasks at her workplace.

Today, Microsoft has rolled out another firmware update to all Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10 Fall Creators Update or greater. This new update will improve your Surface Pro 3 battery life while you’re not using it.

Updating your Surface Pro 3 via Windows Update

You can get this new Firmware Update by:

  1. Go to Start > Settings > Update & security > Windows Update
  2. Click on Check for updates

If your Surface Pro 3 didn’t have the update installed yet, it should appear on the Windows Update page now.
