The 2012 Surface RT features the quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 with the boost speed up to 1.40 GHz. While the 2019 Surface Pro 7 features the 15W 10th Genenration Intel Ice Lake dual-core Intel Core i3-1005G1 up to quad-core Intel Core i7-1065G7 with the boost speed up to 3.90 GHz.
