The 2023 Surface Laptop Go 3 features the 15W 12th Generation Intel Alder Lake U 10-core Intel Core i5-1235U with the boost speed up to 4.40 GHz. While the 2024 Surface Laptop 6 13.5” features the 28W Intel Meteor Lake H-Series 14-core Intel Core Ultra 5 135H up to 16-core Intel Core Ultra 7 165H with the boost speed up to 5.00 GHz.

What's new	More Powerful - All Laptop Go 3 comes with a 10-core 12 threads 13th Gen Intel Alder Lake Core i5-1235U processor and a faster dual-channel LPDDR5 memory. Better Battery Life - It can last up to 15 hours of typical device usage, 1.5 hours longer than the Laptop Go 2 and 2 hours longer than the Laptop Go 1.	Better performance—It's two times faster than Surface Laptop 5. Better specs—It features a more powerful Intel Core Ultra H-series instead of U-series processors, Intel Arc Graphics, 64GB of 7476 MT/s LPDDR5x memory, 1TB Gen4 SSD, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. Integrated NPU—An integrated Intel AI Boost processor offloads AI tasks efficiently, leaving thermal and power to run other critical tasks on CPU and GPU. Better serviceability—It's now easier to service and repair with built-in QR codes that provide convenient access to service guides, including internal markings that identify the number of screws and driver types needed for critical components. More Upgraded 1080p Full HD camera. New dedicated Copilot key. It has a slightly improved display with an anti-reflective coating. It has a somewhat improved battery life from 18 to 18.5 hours.
What's missing	The base configuration for consumers starts at $799 instead of $599 Laptop Go 2 and $549 Laptop Go 1. No 128GB configuration for consumers. 128GB configuration for commercial uses slow UFS storage instead of SSD. Still have no backlit keyboard. No fingerprint login for the commercial entry model configuration with 128GB.	Thicker and heavier. It still has a sharp corner 60Hz display. 8GB models come with LPDDR5 RAM and don't support Intel Arc Graphics. Fewer color options. No Alcantara option.
