Microsoft is now rolling out the October 2017 update to Surface Pro 5 devices to support Windows Mixed Reality features.

Microsoft has started rolling out new firmware updates for Surface Pro 5. The following updates are available for Surface Pro (5th Gen) devices on Windows Fall Creator Update, build 1709 or later:

Getting the Updates via Windows Update

  1. Go to Start > Settings (Win + I) Open Settings app on Windows 11
