Microsoft's new Surface Pro with new Surface Pen in Studio Mode

Microsoft just recently revealed its new Surface Pen alongside the new Surface Pro at Microsoft’s Shanghai event on May 23. The pen now features tilt detection and 4,096 pressure levels support. It’s also getting much faster with only 21ms of latency on the new Surface Pro.

The Pen will also support Surface 3, Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro 4, Surface Book, and Studio as well. All those existing devices will be able to take the advantages of the Pen with upcoming drivers update from Microsoft.

The new Surface Pen is now available for pre-orders from Microsoft Store for the price of $99.99. Fortunately, if you are a student, you can apply for an education discount, which brings the price down to only $89.99. Though the Pen is only available in a single color, the platinum, and will start shipping on June 15, the same day of the new Surface Pro shipment.
